ILM Level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership

Overview

The ILM Level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership aims to give practising or potential senior managers the critical evaluative skills for their formal development in this role.  The qualification does this by developing strategic leadership skills and assisting participants in gaining the knowledge required at this level.

The Level 7 Award in Strategic Leadership is free-standing and consists of two Mandatory Units, Leadership in Practice and Developing the Reflective Leader. The first of these involves learners in using critical incidents to gain insight into the qualities needed for effective leadership and the second in developing the abilities needed to identify how well their own performance matches up to the standards they aspire to.

Successful candidates may benefit from career enhancement and/or progress to further Qualifications depending on their circumstances, including the Certificate or Diploma in either Strategic Leadership or Executive Management, or the combined Diploma in Strategic leadership and Executive Management.
