Working within an entrepreneurial business where innovation is encouraged, you will develop, improve and maintain production processes and product quality. You will be responsible for the development of DFM procedures that will ensure manufacturing throughput and “right first time” production. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy in turning ideas into action plans, and in contributing to the success of the business far quicker than you may have experienced previously.

If moving to a new continent holds no fear for you, this role could be the perfect choice. Your background may be in manufacturing engineering within the automotive component, or a similar fabrication and assembly environment. You will be degree qualified
(or equivalent), in an appropriate discipline, used to working to tight deadlines, thinking innovatively, and practicing Lean manufacturing principles. On-going expansion has created the need for an additional Control Systems Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team.

Working in close collaboration with colleagues in engineering, production and procurement, you will be responsible for designing, specifying and implementing new products and components, as well as improving existing products in order to maintain market leadership. This brief requires a combined knowledge of motion control and machinery design, as besides designing hardware and software solutions, you will be involved in resolving installation issues on customer sites.

This role will best suit an Engineer who is equally at ease in a customer’s factory as in the design office. You will probably be qualified to HNC/ HND level in an electrical or controls discipline and will have experience in programming Allen Bradley and in Rockwell software design. Sales Manager (Food Processing Equipment)

Home based £35K-£38K + car + open-ended bonus 

A proven track record in selling capital equipment to customers within the food industry is the key requirement for this role. Our client, a global leader in a number of niche markets has well-structured distribution network who sell direct to end users. Created as a result of internal promotion, this role focuses on promoting products within Eastern Europe to the distributors. Understanding local markets and analysing product suitability in order to develop business will be fundamental to this remit. 

The candidate chosen for this role will have the level of commercial credibility needed to provide sound support to the distribution sales teams. You will need to be able to grasp complex process applications quickly and it is likely that your background will include selling labelling, weighing, packaging or other food processing equipment, ideally internationally. Our client will also consider candidates with an in depth knowledge of end of line systems gained within food manufacturing or retail. 

Working from a home base, you will need to be well-organised and prepared to travel across Eastern Europe.  Prospects within this successful company are especially good.
