<p><strong>Gt Yarmouth    c£30k + bonus</strong></p>
<p>If you are a multiskilled Engineer with FMCG experience including packaging and manufacturing equipment, our client would love to hear from you.</p>
<p>Working as part of a professional team within a clean manufacturing environment where the highest of quality standards are observed, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance, attending to breakdowns and carrying out engineering projects. In line with the company’s continuous improvement ethos, you will participate in training others in technical skills and in proactively finding improved ways of working.</p>
<p>Qualified to HNC level in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, you will have a strong working knowledge of both disciplines. You will have experience working with PLCs and will be competent in the use of Continuous Improvement tools, such as TPM, and LEAN. Our client is keen to appoint an Engineer who is committed, flexible, well-motivated, organised and analytically minded.</p>

<p>The role involves negotiating supply contracts and drawing up working agreements to the advantage of the business; carrying out sourcing activity in low cost countries to identify suppliers of low cost materials and components; benchmarking existing and potential suppliers to leverage advantage and ensure lowest cost supply and carry out value engineering exercises on products and components to drive unnecessary cost out of the business.</p>
<p>You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills; and have a basic understanding of MRP systems, together with the ability to participate in cross functional new product development teams to bring new products to market on time and at low cost. Full or partial CIPS qualification preferred.</p>

<p>Selling what many consider to be a unique product, you will work across a wide variety of markets. Working with distributors such as plumbers merchants and electrical distributors, as well as with end users and specifiers, you will need to have a good understanding of the mechanics of different distribution channels. Through maintaining relationships with all of the potential and key customers in the area and identifying opportunities for demand creation, you will ensure the growth of sales revenue within your area.</p>
<p>You will be an accomplished Sales Manager, with experience in both maximizing existing customer relationships and in building a strong platform of new business. You will appreciate the benefits of understanding competitors’ products and of effective forecasting in managing account growth. Your experience will include managing accounts within the Reading Area and your home base will need to be on territory.</p>

<p><strong>Norfolk  c£35k</strong></p>
<p>The focus of this role will be on raising productivity through the effective creation of multi-skilled teams and the integration of Lean manufacturing techniques throughout the assembly operations.</p>
<p>With a team of 35 in a make-to-order assembly and press shop environment and many product variations, you will need to need to not only have a thorough knowledge of Press Work (up to 100T) and CNC Press programming. You will also need to have confident leadership and motivation skills.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate for this newly created role will have a good working knowledge of modern manufacturing control systems including MRP-II and Kanban, plus a familiarity with ISO 9001 &amp; ISO 14001 and 6-Sigma.</p>
