Creative Product Design Engineer

The successful candidate will design well thought through medical devices with specific attention to usability.  They will also carry out design research activities to identify product opportunities and latent design needs for medical device development 

You will have a 1st or 2.1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or Product Design Engineering; an exciting portfolio showing your ability to present ideas visually; an interest in medical devices;  a high level of proficiency in 3D CAD (Pro-Engineer or Solidworks); good rendering and computer animation skills and the ability to devise clever mechanical solutions for complex problems.  In addition, a postgraduate degree in industrial design or human factors; good knowledge of manufacturing processes and an understanding of or experience in FDA/MDD legislation on human factors would be beneficial
