Our client’s work includes development of micro-mechanical, piezoelectronic, fluidic and optical devices for markets ranging from healthcare to consumer products.  The successful candidate will have excellent academic credentials, an intuitive grasp of fundamental scientific principles, and demonstrable drive and commitment 

You will have a 1st or 2.1 degree in physics with a PhD from leading institute; broad experience in experimental research, preferably including development of novel experimental apparatus or methods and work in multi-disciplinary environments; very good oral and written communication, presentation, and team skills 

Particular fields of interest include: sensing and actuation technologies, fluidics, optics / opto-electronics.  Project management and commercial experience would be an advantage.  You will be an experimental physicist applying skills to create innovative and effective solutions to real-world problems, working on and leading demanding technology and product development projects
